THE GREEN INFERNO Premieres Tonight!

We're mere hours away from Eli Roth's meditation on eco-terrorism, the college experience, and, oh yeah, cannibals.  THE GREEN INFERNO brings back several familiar faces from last year's premiere of AFTERSHOCK, including Lorenza Izzo, Ariel Levy, and even the irreverent Nicolas Lopez is back on as a producer.

This was the first film of this year's lineup to sell out for both screenings, so those of you that managed to snag a ticket, and for those about to wait in one hell of a rush line, get ready to be consumed by THE GREEN INFERNO!

The world premiere of the apparently hard drinkin' Nicolás López's Aftershock was anything but a disaster on Tuesday night.  López, Eli Roth, and some of the rest of the cast of the earthquake horror walked the red carpet at the Ryerson and Ian Goring was there to catch all the action!

Eli Roth, Andrea Osvart & Ariel Levy On Making AFTERSHOCK.

One of the greatest aspects of the Midnight Madness programme at the Toronto International Film Festival is the introduction of new and unknown talent to the world stage of cinema. Last night Chilean director of AFTERSHOCK Nicolás López was unleashed upon the world.

This year also marks the ten year anniversary of a film Cabin Fever and then unknown filmmaker Eli Roth. In talking with Robert A. Mitchell last night Eli had some pretty amazing things to say about the Midnight Madness section of the festival and the programmer Colin Geddes.

Last night was the world premiere of AFTERSHOCK! All I can say is Wow! The introduction of the film has to be one of the longest and one of the craziest in the entire programmes history -- so much so that I gave it it's own separate video.
