But Night of the Demon tops them all. That movie is just...man, I love it.

You guys mention the difficulty of having a woman believably kick ass. I actually find it hardest not so much when a woman is small, as when she has skinny arms. Zoe Seldana is a fine actress and a beautiful woman, but I do not buy her martial arts mastery. Ladies who kick ass have biceps.

Discounting outliers, Segway usage didn't significantly impact travel times. Of course that's based on a low sample size/non-parametric median comparison and those are usually spotty. LOL

Gareth told me that The Raid wouldn't be a silat movie although the fight coreographer have silat as their background (Iko and Yayan).

There are actors from different martial arts on the movie. As far as I know, they have someone from Judo and someone from Tarung Derajat (80s MMA from Indonesia).

Btw,
if you really interested on Silat, try youtube channel 'saudarakaum'. They came from France to Indonesia and documented a lot of Silat.

Love French horror and can't wait for Livid! (missing out on The Incident) Now, my vote goes to The Woman from A L'Interieur for doing some of the most repulsive things I've seen on screen (people threw things during the screening in disgust!), plus she won't stop, no matter how damaged or disfigured she gets along the way. But I have to say Bartel from Calvaire is ultra-creepy because of the realism in the performance.

I'm dreaming of the day when I see him in concert. Been a fan for over 8 years now but haven't seen his live yet... sigh.

I really hope his North American tour happens soon. I'm already saving up so I can see him in multiple cities. :D
