SPL 2: Character Posters! Panthers! Wolves! Simon Yam!

Holy Cats, check out these sweet character posters for  SPL 2: A Time For Consequences! They feature Tony Jaa, Wu Jing, Louis Koo and Zhang Jin.

(And yes, we have it on good authority that Tony Jaa and Wu Jing fight, though they don't in these posters).

Tony Jaa's leopard arm explains a lot about his terrifying muay Thai skills.

Wu Jing is not a werewolf. Stop asking.

Louis Koo's character is very sensitive about his growth.

Zhang Jin, dapper even when his arm is 20-30% wolf.

And in case you were thinking, "I thought Simon Yam was in SPL 2!" Well, we have this poster of Simon Yam from a different set of SPL 2 character posters (ones without cool panthers and wolves). Looks like Mr. Yam will be in the next season of Hannibal...

Or perhaps Vampire Prosecutor.

THE EDITOR: Graham Humphreys' Giallo Posters!

Midnighteer Chad shared the trailers and posters for The Editor. But we thought with The Editor premiering tonight we'd share them again--with a little more information. UK-based illustrator and graphic designer Graham Humphreys designed the official poster above. And he designed a series of posters for the fantastically named giallo films the Editor himself works on in the film.

THE STRANGE COLOUR OF YOUR BODY'S TEARS Premieres Tonight!

The Strange Colour of Your Body's Tears premieres tonight over at The Bloor Hot Docs Cinema, home of the Vanguard Program.

It's not part of Midnight Madness, but where would the Madness be without giallo, those stylish Italian thrillers that led to slasher films and classics like Halloween and Friday The Thirteenth? And The Strange Colour Of Your Body's Tears is Hélène Cattet and Bruno Forzani's homage to giallo.

 On its journey from digital horror novel to film adaptation, from SXSW and Sundance to reaching its perfect audience in closing out Midnight Madness, Don Coscarelli's John Dies At The End has accumulated a whack of poster art, including some weapons--The Bible Belter above and the Paintball and Propane Flamethrower below.

Apart from the Midnight Madness Pass, the best bang for your buck at TIFF has got to be THE ABCs OF DEATH. 26 films. 26 directors. Sign me up! Check out the posters below as well as a trailer promoting the 26th director contest. Sorry folks, the contest is over but all the entries are posted here. Yeah, the trailer looks pretty badass... But this is the stuff that didn't make it into the film. Imagine how awesome the stuff they did put in is!

DREDD 3D Poster and Clip: Judgment Is Coming

Midnight Madness 2012 opens with Dredd 3D, the first 3D movie ever to play the program and the first of two this year!

DreadCentral has a first look at the poster for Eduardo Sanchez' Lovely Molly, which has its world premiere at Midnight Madness, as well as details on how to win an autographed poster!
