Special guests, a surprise encore screening of the crowd-pleasing The Chickening, and a packed Ryerson theatre made for one of the wildest screenings in the Midnight Madness 2015 lineup. Completely Insane Photos From the Premiere of YAKUZA APOCALYPSE!

In what felt like a fever dream from beginning to end, Takashi Miike brought an unsurprisingly wild and ultra-violent Yakuza Apocalypse to the Ryerson last night in his first live appearance at TIFF since 2000.  For me, and probably a lot of people in attendance on Day 9 of Midnight Madness 2015, this was my first time seeing 'The Master of Midnight' in person, and it was a thrilling and humbling experience.  Ian Goring was also there to capture this history-making night of insanity!

TIFF Tip: Tickets are required to attend a film at TIFF.

Pics from the Premiere of SPL 2: A TIME FOR CONSEQUENCES!

It was certainly a time for consequences last night on Day 8 of Midnight Madness, and consequences came in the form of knees to the face! And kicks to the face! And knees to the knees! And a wolf?

Possibly my favourite TIFF movie about involuntary organ donation, SPL2 kept the Midnight audience at the edge of their seats, and Ian Goring was there to bring you all the action!

Without a doubt, Teensy Ninja was one of the most popular celebs at TIFF this year. Some say that paparazzi photos of Teensy Ninja were fetching prices north of $500 a pop.
